Under the title, Challenges for early detection and prevention of cancer: lessons learned from Horizon 2020 cancer projects, the round table with researchers from EU-funded projects (Horizon2020 and Horizon Europe) attracted great interest and more than 90 registrants from diverse organisations across Europe.

It also highlighted the importance of processes of adaptation of programmes to different contexts with the participation of different key actors, including professionals, managers and the population, with particular attention to vulnerable groups. It concluded with an open discussion between participants and audience, providing a space for communication and collaboration between research and policy.
